“Sustainable development and the roles of universities in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”

October 03-04, 2019

Venue: Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration (TUEBA), Thai Nguyen City, Vietnam

In Celebration of the 15th Anniversary of Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration, we are pleased to invite you to attend the international conference on “Sustainable development and the roles of universities in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, which will be held in Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration on October 03-04, 2019.

TUEBA was founded in 2004 by merging Faculty of Economics, TNU-University of Agriculture and Forestry with Faculty of Economics, TNU-University of Technology to become a public higher education institution under Thai Nguyen University (TNU) – one of the major national universities. TUEBA is both a new forward-looking university and a long-established one, as both predecessor faculties had long histories and long-standing educational traditions from 1970s.

Since establishment, TUEBA has developed a unique direction that differentiates itself from other universities in training and research and has made steady steps toward building up a vibrant higher education destination of the country in the academic fields of Economics, Management, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Economic Law, Marketing and Tourism.

This two-day international conference focuses on the challenges associated with achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Fourth Industrial Revolution featuring one full day of presentations, a forum with higher education experts and thought leaders, a general reception, networking events and a tour of local tea and handicraft villages.

Thai Nguyen is a beautiful and slow pace midland province in the Northeast of Vietnam, adjacent to Hanoi and located in Hanoi Capital Region. With very convenience location, Thai Nguyen province becomes the gateway for economic and political exchanges between the mountainous region and northern midland region and is striving to become a leading hub of industry, services and innovation of the country. Thai Nguyen is also regarded as the third largest center for training of human resources in the country after Hanoi Capital and Ho Chi Minh City.

A visit to the district which is famous for its hundred years of aromatic tea cultivation makes a perfect escape to the hustle and bustle of city life. Limestone mountains are covered by forest canopies, so the landscape becomes more mysterious, exotic and wild with many caves and springs.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Thai Nguyen in October 2019.
